Practice Manager

for the

Leaving Care Service

Your role and responsibilities Advising, supporting and directly supervising a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors. Developing good quality of practice, motivating the team and driving forward continued performance development. Confidently making management decisions regarding case work. Developing and leading on Immigration and Asylum knowledge and Leaving Care legislation and practice. Ensuring young people and their families are actively involved in planning to achieve best outcomes. Communicating effectively with a range of agencies and helping shape future services. You will need To be social work qualified, Social Work England registered and have a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in adoption, frontline or relevant childcare settings. Evidence of continuing professional development in a management role. Management qualification (Desirable). The team We are a team who specializes in working with Children in Care and Care Leavers to support young people aged 16 up to 25 to develop their independence and prepare for adulthood.
