Greenlands Surgery is looking for a Practice Nurse to help care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You should be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patients' well-being by providing high-quality nursing care. Your responsibility will be to monitor the patients' condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. You will observe and interpret patients' symptoms and communicate them to the GPs. Collaborate with the GP to devise individualized care plans for patients and perform routine procedures such as immunizations, smears, diabetic checks, COPD, and asthma reviews. Person Specification

Qualifications

Qualified and Registered nurse in the UK with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Experience in specific areas, such as: Chronic disease management Child immunizations Cervical screenings Taking blood samples Health promotion Working with patients with long-term conditions Disclosure and Barring Service Check
