Markfield Part-time 25 – 30 hours (negotiable) Markfield Medical Centre is seeking to appoint a Practice Nurse for approx. 25-30 hours per week. (Hours and days to be agreed with the successful candidate). We are looking for someone who has excellent clinical and communication skills, coupled with a patient-focused approach to care. You must be forward-thinking and able to work independently as well as being a team player. Markfield Medical Centre is a rural practice caring for 7200 patients. We pride ourselves on a friendly patient-centered service and our patient survey results reflect this. We have a purpose-built building with an adjoining pharmacy. We have an excellent team of 4 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, a team of 10 receptionists, secretaries, and administrators, 3 HCAs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Lead prescribing nurse, Pharmacist, and a Clinical Practitioner. We aim to deliver as many services to our patients within primary care as we can. The role is rewarding and varied. It will suit someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and a good team player. We are looking for someone who has experience and confidence in managing patients face to face as well as good organisational and communication skills. Experience in Diabetes and Infection Control would be advantageous but not essential. Our ideal candidate will be a band 6 Practice Nurse. Closing date for applications is 24 January 2025.
