We are a friendly, busy two site GP surgery currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse with a strong emphasis on good teamwork and flexibility to join our dedicated Nursing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills, competent in all usual treatment room tasks, including ear syringing, wound care, cervical screening, and management of chronic disease. They will essentially require up-to-date knowledge and skills in Diabetes, Asthma, and COPD management. It would be preferable (but not essential) if you are a nurse prescriber.
You will have first level registration with the NMC and will be able to demonstrate relevant post-registration experience, with clear evidence of continuous professional development. Experience working within General Practice is advantageous but not essential.
Salary will be Band 6 depending upon experience.
