Job Overview A surgery in Reading is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support within our practice. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care while maintaining a professional and friendly environment. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. Conduct health assessments and monitor patients' conditions, documenting changes accurately. Administer vaccinations and injections as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with practice policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote preventative healthcare measures. Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of nursing protocols. Qualifications Registered Nurse with valid nursing qualifications and current registration with the relevant nursing body. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient needs. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
