Accounts Senior
Hours:
20 - 25 hours per week (Mon - Friday) Salary:
£26,000 - £30,000 per year

A well-established regional accountancy firm with offices in Exeter, Okehampton, and Totnes. Their experienced team delivers tailored business support and tax planning to a wide range of clients. As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key part in supporting their client's success, while contributing to their continued growth as a firm.
Roles and Responsibilities: Working independently on the completion of Accounts and Tax Returns for a wide range of client types and structures, ready for a partner review. VAT return reviews and supporting staff and clients improve their bookkeeping skills. Assisting with managing workflows. Reviewing work of more junior staff and helping them on their journey with training. Staying up to date with latest accounting software updates and releases.
Qualifications and Education Requirements: Fully AAT qualified or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a practice environment. A desire for variety and a willingness to contribute in shaping this role as the organisation enters a period of significant growth. Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite. You will need to be able to adapt to the changing environment that the organisation works within. A sharp eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. The ability to commute to the office in Okehampton. The ability to multi-task, have an open mind and a willingness to help.
