Job Description
Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy within the retail setting.
Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to all patrons.
Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, providing guidance and leadership as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare and retail industry regulations and guidelines.
Participate in the selection, training, and development of pharmacy staff.
Work closely with other department managers to promote a positive and efficient retail environment.
Implement and monitor healthcare initiatives within the pharmacy department.
Handle administrative tasks related to inventory management, sales reporting, and staff scheduling.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Practice Pharmacy Manager should have:
An approved degree in pharmacy from a recognised institution.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
A thorough understanding of the retail industry and healthcare regulations.
