An exciting opportunity has arisen for an autonomous, experienced nurse to join our practice nursing team.
Thurso & Halkirk Medical Practice is a dynamic, forward-thinking training practice that strives to provide high-quality patient care over our two sites. The successful candidate will be based at our Thurso site but may be required to cover our Halkirk site on occasion.
This is a varied role encompassing all aspects of practice nursing alongside nursing triage. The practice operates a telephone triage system run successfully by our practice nursing team. Our experienced practice nurses share their time between nursing duties and triage duties. A detailed job description is available alongside this advert.
Working days and hours are negotiable, but the successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 2 days a week.
Salary is dependent on experience but takes into account the advanced aspects of this practice nursing post alongside any additional qualifications the candidate may hold (such as non-medical prescribing). The position offers excellent terms and conditions including generous holiday entitlement and pension.
