As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and design and deliver training. The role requires extensive experience and knowledge in carrying a service user's caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans. Reporting directly to the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and design and deliver training. As a Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service user’s caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans. As a Psychologist you will be: Participating in the assessment of referrals and providing initial assessment for service users referred to the service. Undertaking high quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions. Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods. Formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients’ mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence-based best practice. Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care. Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Company Policies and Procedures. To be successful in this role, you'll need: BPS recognised psychology degrees HCPC registration Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications Approval as a supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Clinical setting Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits Previous experience of conducting research and project work What you will get: Annual salary of £58,000 The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) – plus your birthday off! Where you will be working: Location : Bradley Road, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN37 0AA You will work at Bradley Complex Care, a specialist service for men and women living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental health issue, or personality disorder. You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team to support people with complex conditions, needs, and risks who display behaviours of concern and pose challenges for services, including those with highly complex and severe challenging behaviour. Bradley Complex Care is located in Bradley, Grimsby, and North East Lincolnshire. The location provides a more relaxed local environment than a busy inner-city setting to enable patients to engage in their therapeutic programme, thus increasing the pace of recovery and speeding up discharge. Qualifications

BPS recognised psychology degrees, HCPC registration, Chartered Psychologist status, appropriate post-graduate qualifications, approval as a supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division, understanding of evidence-based psychological practice, experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Clinical setting, and experience working with clients with cognitive deficits.
