are looking for a
Practitioner Psychologist
to join our private clients at their Bradley Complex Care that provide a specialist service for men and women living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental health issue or personality disorder. What you'll do: Assisting in the assessment of referrals and conducting initial assessments for service users referred to the service. Providing high-quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) psychological interventions, while making independent clinical decisions. Offering therapeutic support to service users with complex issues and conducting assessments using a variety of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods. Developing and implementing specialized psychological treatment plans or strategies to address patients' mental health needs, based on a comprehensive psychological understanding and evidence-based best practices. Taking professional and legal responsibility for all aspects of clinical work and care. Ensuring high standards of care are maintained across all areas of practice, in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and company policies and procedures. What we're looking for: BPS recognised psychology degrees. HCPC registration. Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications. Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant divisions. Knowledge of evidence-based psychological practices. Experience in applying psychological expertise within a clinical environment. Experience working with clients who have cognitive impairments.
