An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care. The ability to be resilient, communicate effectively, and utilise a variety of communication tools is essential. Our dedicated staff team supports individuals to learn and develop their skills to aid in their independence. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humour, sense of fun, and creativity in supporting individuals with day-to-day life. Where You Would Work:

Antrim Supported Living Services (Antrim Town) provides support to 34 individuals who have experienced severe and enduring mental illness. Diagnoses include Schizophrenia, Emotional Unstable Personality Disorder, ASD, and Bipolar Disorder, which can sometimes be interlinked with a learning disability, forensic history, and/or dual diagnosis. Housing is provided by Radius Housing/Choice Housing or private landlords, and is a mix of group living and independent accommodation. Responsibilities:

Recovery-led support with mental health, managing self-harm, suicidal ideation, and emotional support. Administering medication and supporting individuals to understand their medication. Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams in a professional manner. Supporting individuals towards independent living, including acquiring groceries, attending appointments, participating in activities, and budgeting. Helping individuals work towards goals and aspirations, including updating an Everyday Living Plan and facilitating monthly key working sessions. Managing conflict/neighbour relations/housing support. Signposting to specialist services. Computer skills to update care plans, risk assessments, and monthly summaries. Recording skills. Support Worker Full Time, Part Time, and Relief Contracts available. *£24,133 - £26,647 per annum based on 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies. Closing Date:
