Pre-Construction Manager

We are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Manager on behalf of our client in Newmarket! Pre-Construction Manager Newmarket £66,000 per annum 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm – Hybrid 2 days in the office Permanent Our client in Newmarket is looking for a Pre-Construction Manager who will take full responsibility and accountability for the Estimating and Pre-Construction function, as well as managing a team. What will you receive? 25 days holiday plus 8 (can rise to 30 plus 8 after 5 years service) Auto enrolment pension scheme Bonus up to 12.5% of salary. What will the Pre-Construction Manager do? Manage estimating and pre-construction functions Work in conjunction with the Director and lead Design Manager, Estimating and Project Manager to ensure all inputs to a bid are met on time and within budget Manage DO/PCSA agreements Build relationships with clients This is an outline description of the key responsibilities and accountabilities involved in the job. This is not an exhaustive list and the post-holder might be expected to undertake any other duties across the wider organisation. What we are looking for in the Pre-Construction Manager? Excellent client-facing and communication skills Experience in Pre-Contract management - have a degree (or equivalent) Experience in preparing tender submissions Experience managing a team A strong capability in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications which includes Word, Excel, Email etc. Ability to build relationships, internally and externally
