Current Affairs Electrical Contractors, a leading provider of electrical solutions across London and the Home Counties, is seeking a skilled Pre-Contracts Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. About Current Affairs Electrical Contractors Based in the beautiful Kent/East Sussex borders, Current Affairs has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical design and installation services for CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs. With projects spanning London, the Home Counties, and occasionally nationwide, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team with a collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities Lead tenders for projects received from clients. Produce detailed cost plans based on project requirements. Meet clients to understand project needs, attend tender interviews, and participate in coordination meetings. Conduct site surveys and liaise with subcontractors. Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliant submissions. Manage electrical design submissions in collaboration with the CAD team and designers. Produce technical submittals for secured projects. Develop business with new and existing clients. Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Manage tender return dates and repricing as per client expectations. Oversee the handover of secured projects to the project management team. Attend internal project review meetings with the project management team. Work on multiple CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects simultaneously. Essential Skills and Experience At least 2 years' experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager, or in a Pre-Construction role. Familiarity with Design and Build office fit-out works. Proven track record of managing project costs effectively. BS7671:th Edition certification. Gold or Black ECS Card holder. C&G NVQ Level 3 or higher. HNC in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (preferred). Experience in Design and Build CAT A/B office fit-outs. Proficiency in electrical design, including lighting design and installation. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Productivity bonus based on project profits, paid quarterly.
