Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Pre Production Engineer to join the team. The Pre Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, estimating, and communicating with clients and suppliers to ensure a successful pre-production phase. The ideal candidate will have hands-on engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities for Pre-Production Engineer:

Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates. Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with the engineering team to plan the manufacturing process. Provide clients with detailed quotes and timelines for pre-production activities. Conduct thorough reviews of manufacturing timelines and adjust plans as necessary to meet client expectations. Act as a liaison between customers and the production team, ensuring that all project requirements are met.

Experience for Pre-Production Engineer: Proven experience in engineering and manufacturing, with a focus on pre-production activities. Ideally you will be a time-served engineer with a strong understanding of machining, welding, and fabrication processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications. Proficient in project planning and estimation, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budget requirements.

Benefits for Pre-Production Engineer: Basic Salary £38 - £43 DOE. Onsite parking. Collaborative and inclusive work environment. Pension. Manufacturing hours, earlier finish on a Friday.
