Provide a safe environment for patient care. Ensure best practice with infection prevention and control. Motivate the team to maintain a high standard of patient care. Ensure the highest standards of clinical care by providing strong leadership and support. Ensure patients are treated with dignity and respect. Work as an advocate, available for advice and support for staff, patients, and their families to access all areas required to plan their care. Main Duties of the Job

Registered Nurse ENB 998 preparation of mentors or equivalent. Diploma/1st Degree/Diploma level education/willingness to complete diploma. Ensure registration with the relevant professional body is maintained and to practice within the professional codes of conduct of that body. RN/ODP. Delivery of evidence-based practice. Previous experience at Band 5 within surgery. Evidence of facilitating learning in practice. Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development. Other Requirements

Awareness of and adherence to the Trust’s Vision, Mission and Values. Current understanding of key issues facing the NHS both locally and nationally.
