Premises and Grounds Officer

Location: Leicester Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,312 - £23,162 per annum + £1,800 shift responsibility allowance Join our thriving and vibrant Sixth Form College at a particularly exciting time. We are seeking a dedicated Premises and Grounds Officer to help maintain our high-quality, safe, and well-maintained learning environment. This role offers a real opportunity to make a significant impact on both our staff and students' experience by ensuring our facilities are outstanding. Day-to-day of the role:

Work across both the University Road and Regent Road campuses. Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the college sports grounds and amenities under the direction of the Grounds Maintenance Officer. Carry out general maintenance tasks across both college sites. Conduct regular compliance checks as per the college’s policies and procedures. Assist in managing fire, lockdown, and other emergency procedures. Ensure full coverage of the shift rota, including regular shift work on a rota basis and occasional weekend work. Respond to call outs as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and to be on call as needed. Benefits:
