Core Training in Botox & Dermal Fillers
course is designed to help new aesthetics practitioners develop their fundamental skills. It consists of three days of training at one of our City of London campuses and 12 hours of eLearning. Establishing a foundation in theory and practice, it’s the perfect way to kickstart your career in aesthetic medicine. During your training, you’ll increase your competence and safety as an injector, putting your aesthetics patients first. You’ll also learn the key science and theory of cosmetic toxin and filler treatments. Your Core Training course comprises the following: eLearning An Observation Day A 1:1 training session in Botox A 1:1 training session in dermal fillers. These elements must be completed in this order. After completing your eLearning, your very first in-person training session will be your Foundation Training day. You can book this and all your other sessions through your eLearning account. This full day at our Harley Academy Threadneedle Street location involves a morning of theory and mannequin injecting practice. During the afternoon, you’ll then be treating your first patient under the guidance of your clinical mentor. Lunch is provided for all group, in-person, day-long sessions! Your next session will be an
Observation Day . This is where you observe narrated injectable treatment demonstrations by our specialist mentors. Of course, everyone loves the practical aspect of our aesthetics training courses, but these “Obs Days” also rate highly with our trainees! We hold one remote Observation Day a month. To attend, you’ll need a device with a working camera and microphone, as well as a reliable internet connection. You can attend your Obs Day in person at our City of London campus or via Zoom. Both options can be booked online via your eLearning account. As you watch our mentors providing various filler and toxin treatments to patients, you’ll get the chance to ask questions. Don’t forget to take plenty of notes, too; there’s a lot of valuable information from these sessions! You’ll learn skills during your Observation Day that you can then put into practice during your practical mentoring. One-to-one mentored training sessions in botox and fillers
Lastly, you’ll complete the final two elements of your Core Training during a full day of practical, mentored injectables training sessions. Your aesthetics mentoring will always be one-on-one, meaning you never share patients with other trainees. You’ll have a morning of botox training and an afternoon of dermal filler training. During these, you’ll consult and treat patients (provided by us) under the guidance of your expert mentor. Upon completion, you can download your certificate from our eLearning platform. This confirms and documents your successful Core Training in Botox & Dermal Fillers achievement. It also allows you to obtain the necessary insurance you’ll need to start your aesthetic medicine career! Your Core Training injectables course in summary:
