Presales Architect

to join our fast-paced and customer-centric team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of Compute, collaborating directly with clients to design, present, and implement innovative solutions that address their most pressing business challenges. As a key member of our team, you'll be acting as a trusted advisor and shaping solutions that ensure our customers' success. Responsibilities: Customer Engagement : Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations, from technical teams to C-level executives. Understand their business needs and pain points to propose tailored, innovative solutions that solve complex challenges. Solution Design, Presentations and proofs-of-concept (POCs) : Develop and configure optimal workload solutions that balance cost, scope, and scale, delivering superior value while maximizing the win rate. Lead compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept (POC) to meet customer requirements. Technical Expertise : Serve as the go-to expert for Compute products and solution knowledge including hardware, cloud services, virtualization, and data centre technologies. Provide technical guidance during the sales process, from initial scoping to post-sale deployment. Proposal Development (RFP/RFI Responses) : Work closely with sales teams to develop high-quality, customer-specific proposals, including technical architecture, cost estimations, and project timelines. Collaboration with Sales Teams : Partner with Sales teams and other cross-functional teams to drive sales cycles, ensuring that solutions align with customer needs and exceed expectations. Drives the Account Business Planning process, leveraging knowledge of industry trends and the customer’s technical environment. Proactively builds the pipeline by identifying opportunities (e.g., enhancements, unmet or unrecognized needs, up-selling, and cross-selling opportunities) within the account. Market and Product Knowledge : Stay updated on IT industry and customer industry trends, emerging technologies. Actively gathers and applies competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product teams on customer needs and preferences. Continuous Improvement : Contribute to personal technical development. In addition to the development of internal technical resources, best practices, and sales enablement tools to ensure the team’s success. Desired Skills & Experience: First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications. Advanced degree in technology preferred. Technical Expertise : Advanced experience participating in and leading solution configurations and the creation of demos and proofs-of-concept (POC) to meet customer requirements. Advanced understanding of HPE portfolio of products, software, services, solution and how they can be combined to address customer needs. Presales Experience : 5+ years of presales experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the technology or IT infrastructure industry. Customer-Centric Mindset : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. A passion for solving customer problems with technology. Problem-Solving : Proven ability to diagnose complex technical problems and design creative solutions that meet customer business objectives. Presentation & Demonstration Skills : Comfort with delivering compelling, clear, and persuasive presentations to diverse audiences, including technical workshops and executive-level briefings. Project Management : Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, balancing customer needs with business objectives.
