Presales Specialist

at SHL could be the next step in your presales career. In this role, you’ll support the Presales function and Commercial teams by building custom client demos, developing RFP responses, writing high-quality Statements of Work and ensuring our deals are appropriately scoped and priced.

What you will be doing: Creating, curating, and presenting compelling customised content to clearly communicate the value proposition of SHL’s solutions and services. Assisting the Solution Architects and Sales team during the presales phase and in preparation for client meetings, including building custom product demos, responding to RFPs/RFIs, creating compelling Word/Excel proposals and presentations. Collaborating with Solution Architects and sales teams to ensure content aligns with customer requirements, business goals, and strategy. Working closely with the Centre of Excellence to understand customer technical requirements and submission planning. Developing knowledge on what products and services we deliver. Ensure all aspects of client engagements can be delivered and set realistic timelines. Having a solid understanding of our solutions, staying appraised of the digital roadmap and releases, and helping refine product positioning and messaging to resonate with the client’s industry and business context. Developing and maintaining a local library of reusable content, templates, and resources for presales presentations, proposals, and client demos. Continuously assessing the effectiveness of content, iterating based on client feedback and sales outcomes, and staying up to date with industry trends, competitor content, and customer preferences.

What we are looking for from you: Essential:

Presales or product marketing experience, including statements of work and proposals. Experience with design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Synthesia, Adobe, Canva). Experience with PreSales tools (e.g. Walnut, Custom Report Developer tools). Experience with marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Synthesia).

Desirable:

Presales experience within a technology, SaaS or services industry. Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with an ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging content. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content development projects simultaneously.
