Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Lead Operator to lead our team of manufacturing personnel in the press brake area.
Press Brake Lead Operator Responsibilities:
Leading a team of manufacturing personnel in the press brake area
Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely completion of production targets
Ensuring adherence to the production schedules set by fabrication management
Training new operators to run and set up jobs
Monitoring team performance and providing feedback for improvements
Assisting in performance appraisals of operators and setup personnel
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
Performing all other duties assigned by management
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication on CNC hydraulic press brakes
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
Knowledge of CNC press brake programming
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawings
Experience Required:
Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed
Understanding and following company policies and procedures
Safety-conscious behavior
Proficiency in Excel
