Press Brake Operator
Location: St Neots
Salary: £28k - £35,000 depending on experience
Shift: Late Shift (2pm - 10pm)
We are recruiting for our Client in St Neots for a Press Brake Operator working on an Amada Turret Punch and 3m Brake Press. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced Acoustic Housing assembly operations team. Our Client has a busy order book and is currently expanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setting and Operating on Press Brake / Brake Press Amada Machines
Set and Operate Amada Turret Punch and 3m Press Brake for Sheet Metal Fabrication
Optimise machine settings for efficiency and precision
Perform routine maintenance and address basic machine issues
Produce high-quality components for acoustic housing kits, adhering to technical specifications
Ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment
Assist in assembly operations as needed
Handle materials and perform medium lifting
Work closely with team members to meet production goals
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in setting and operating turret punches and brake presses
Familiarity with Sheet Metal manufacturing processes
Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine operation
