939CW Pressure Compliance Lead - (Balance of plant) Hinkley Point C, Somerset Long term, Full time £405 PAYE to £545 UMBRELLA per day Job Title: Pressure Compliance Lead - (Balance of plant) Description & Background: We're seeking a skilled Pressure Compliance Lead to join our team at Hinkley Point C, one of the largest power generation projects in the world. Reporting to the MEH Pressure Compliance Team Leader, you'll manage pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements for the BOP scope. This role sits within the Quality function and serves as the single point of contact for pressure systems compliance through all project phases. Responsibilities: Support development and maintenance of pressure systems compliance requirements Ensure project policies and processes meet regulatory requirements Make technical decisions regarding pressure systems regulation compliance Organize delivery of technical files in line with Pressure Regulations Coordinate surveillance with appointed Third Party organizations Track and expedite resolution of open points Prepare declarations of conformity Maintain personnel SQEP status for nuclear baseline requirements Interface with Project Managers and stakeholders Support regulatory engagement and supply chain delivery Manage pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements Develop and maintain strong working relationships with HPC, regulators and supply chain Experience Required: Degree in Engineering or Science-based discipline Experience in structural integrity and pressure regulation compliance in nuclear industry Knowledge of mechanical engineering design for pressure equipment (RCC-M or ASME codes) Experience in large scale projects within highly regulated industries Strong background in pressure systems manufacture, installation, and conformity assessment Proven experience in multi-cultural industrial projects Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders Strong communication and technical decision-making skills Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Member of professional institution (IMechE preferred) Knowledge of nuclear industry and EDF group Understanding of UK regulatory requirements Experience working with regulators Experience in power generation, nuclear, or oil & gas sectors Location and Travel: Site based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset Long term, Full time £405 PAYE to £545 UMBRELLA per day This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the UK's nuclear future while working with cutting-edge technology and diverse stakeholders.
