5 Information about the role: As part of the Prevent Partnership Team, you will drive and deliver the Prevent agenda across the wider policing family, facilitating engagement between policing teams, partner organisations, and communities. This will be done through the development and delivery of presentations and training packages, delivering face-to-face inputs, and managing continuous professional development for internal and external partners. The role requires a mature understanding of Prevent as a strategy and the role it plays in wider policing legitimacy. You’ll have excellent diplomacy and collaboration skills. Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with Prevent partners in local authorities, schools, higher/further educational institutions, faith institutions/organisations, the health sector, and the prison and probation services. Delivering briefings to local policing staff, partners, and communities. Development of training packages, events, online training, and continuous professional development inputs and delivering these. Targeted delivery of the above, using analytical data, to priority areas across the region. Administrating and managing the Prevent Ambassador scheme, promoting, encouraging, and supporting the delivery of Prevent with Police Staff and Officers across the region.
