As a Pricing Analyst, you will work alongside the Head of Global Pricing, to develop a Pricing Strategy in partnership with Heads of Verticals, Product Management and Finance ensuring profitability, competitiveness and implement this pricing strategy in the CMS or Configure Price Quote application (CPQ), so the product/service can be quoted on.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Global Pricing with the management of the existing Pricing Strategy at JATO. This will involve the translation of Pricing Strategies into rules and formulae rules, maintaining the existing models and balancing the needs of various stakeholders. Develop new pricing strategies across different markets and move towards a SaaS Pricing model. Support Product management and Heads of Verticals in building long term value strategies that cover all value levels (mix, price increase, promotion). Maintain a strong understanding of the Global pricing landscape and the changing demands of the local markets against the existing pricing strategies. Work with Product Management team to undertake the necessary work to set the pricing for new products to help position JATO’s products in the market, providing various revenue, cost, and profitability models. Work with Finance team to evaluate the full value chain economics of each proposition by supporting cost modelling per product. Produce and analyse the price volumes data and manage, operate and improve the pricing models on an ongoing basis. Analyse and report on pricing performance against JATO’s defined targets for its Global market sectors. Key Requirements
Educated to degree level with a CIMS, ACA or MBA qualification a bonus. Demonstrable experience of working with and delivering on relatively complex pricing strategies ideally in a consultative environment. SaaS pricing experience, including shaping price and promotional strategies and enabling delivery via cross functional working. Proactive individual, comfortable working and communicating in an international environment looking to take the next step in their career. Highly motivated person with ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a high performing team that has wide influence throughout the business. Must be able to work across functions and understand different points of views, must be a good listener and have good stakeholder management skills. Hard-working, driven and commercially astute individual who builds relationships easily and is driven by delivery. An understanding of CPQ tools (ideally Cincom CPQ) is desirable. Strong commercial awareness of P&L right through the value chain to consumer price, together with an understanding of levers to drive revenue. Strength in analytical reasoning and numerical analysis.
