Pricing Consultant Salary: £27,500 - £32,500 We have flexible start dates available, ideally starting by May 2025. This opportunity would be great for someone new to insurance - perhaps at the start of their career or seeking a change of direction or return to work. This role is in the Personal Lines Underwriting (PLU) Team which looks after the pricing (how much we charge) and underwriting (how we manage our decisions and risk) for our ‘personal line’ (home, motor and travel) insurance products in the UK. The team is made up of a broad spectrum of people; some have been with the company for over 30 years whilst others have just finished education. It focuses on problem solving, using data to identify improvements and getting involved in innovative pricing models – don’t worry we will train you on all these areas. We use data science driven analytics to give customers a price and product they are satisfied with while also enabling Aviva to be profitable and grow. If you are numerical and love data and statistics this could be for you, the key is a desire to learn and develop, the ability to solve problems and the curiosity to explain the story behind the numbers. If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can make a real difference for the customers of the UK’s largest insurer, we would love to hear from you!
