Key duties and responsibilities Flu, B 12 and Vit D vaccinations Recalls Ordering of medical supplies Stock take of medical supplies Health care promotions Asthma checks Diabetic checks Clinical skills health and well-being Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for whichyou have received appropriate training: Completing full NHSHC assessments once trained appropriately andunder supervision of PN / GPs support the clinicians with completing LCC templates/NHSHCtemplates and completing care plans for those under clinician supervision Urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by thepathology laboratory Measuring and recording following physiological measurements inroutine presentations:* Once trained to do so. 1.Blood Pressure 2.Pulse Rate And Rhythm 3.Temperature 4.Height And Weight - Body Mass Index Health advice for patients who seek support with losing weightand those at risk of diabetes including referrals Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, duringand after patient care interventions Assist in raising awareness of health and well-being, and how itcan be promoted Give accurate and appropriate information to patients and groupswithin own competence Person Specification
Experience
Prior experience in a primary care setting Qualifications
Formal Healthcare Assistant qualifications are preferred. Experience working in the primary care setting would be beneficial. Please review the Job description for the skills required in the job role. Experience of HCA working, knowledge of Primary Care and the NHS Disclosure and Barring Service Check
