Eligo Medical are working on behalf of a well-established GP Surgery in Tipton, to recruit an experienced Primary Care Medical Receptionist for an ongoing full-time position.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Handling incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments and managing inquiries. Updating and maintaining patient records securely and accurately. Processing repeat prescriptions and other administrative tasks. Assisting with ad-hoc duties to support the practice team. Ensuring patients are checked in and directed to the appropriate clinician efficiently. Requirements: Previous experience working in a Primary Care setting is essential. Proficiency with GP practice systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne, or Vision) is highly desirable. Enhanced DBS clearance and any relevant background checks must be in place. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and patient-focused approach to delivering service.
