The role involves working with GPs and the primary care multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care. This role will involve delivery of the Pharmacotherapy service as part of the GP contract and provides an important function in supporting patients with their medicines.
NHS Highland pharmacy teams are renowned for implementing new and innovative ways of working and for continually developing the roles and responsibilities of pharmacy staff. Training, education and personal development is a priority of the team and there will be opportunities for further training and education as the service and role evolves.
You will have excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and IT skills along with the ability to influence and affect change. You possess relevant pharmacy experience and will be a qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
The post will involve travelling within the East Ross area so a full, current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.
