Job Opportunity: Primary School Sports Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Are you passionate about sports and inspiring young children to lead active, healthy lives? We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school, supporting students in physical education and promoting a love for sports and fitness. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the PE teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive sports lessons for children of all abilities, fostering a positive attitude toward physical activity. Support students in developing their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence during sports activities and lessons. Organize and supervise lunchtime and after-school sports clubs, promoting participation and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. Help plan and set up sports equipment and activities for lessons, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for students. Work one-on-one or with small groups of students who may need additional support in physical activities or those showing exceptional talent. Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all physical activities. Assist in organizing school sports events, tournaments, and competitions. Requirements:

Experience working with children in a sports or educational setting. A passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to stay active and enjoy physical activity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A strong understanding of child development and the importance of physical activity for overall well-being. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the broader school community.
