Training will be provided for manual handling; however, candidates must be proactive and attentive within this role and able to take initiative. CONTRACT DETAILS * Location – Newport * Position – Teaching Assistant * Type of work – Teaching Assistant * Contract or position start date – ASAP * Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary * Full time/part time – Part time * Minimum rate of pay – £ * Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS * Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership * Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: * Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional child-related references Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
