Overview

Pragmatic is revolutionising semiconductor fabrication with ultra-low-cost, flexible integrated circuit technology that makes it quick and easy to embed intelligence almost anywhere. As Principal Application Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring both internal and external customer success as the key technical stakeholder, translating application needs and requirements into technical specifications. Collaborating across Engineering, Product Management, and Commercial teams, you will be responsible for technical leadership of early product ideation, requiring creative translation of customer needs into novel FlexIC solutions and directly contributing in both technical and leadership roles throughout the product development cycle. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be proactive in pulling detailed requirements from external/internal customers, translating them into technical specifications, and driving the delivery of early concepts and demonstrators while contributing and mentoring at a technical level. A proven track record in Application Engineering or Analog Mixed Signal IC Design (or similar roles) within the Electronics/Semiconductor industry, experience of leading customer-facing engagements, and a wide technical knowledge of electronics and their applications in a wide range of industries is preferred, but certainly not a pre-requisite. This is a great opportunity for you to apply your skills and knowledge to work on cutting-edge technologies and solutions that shape the future of the semiconductor industry. You will also have the chance to interact with some of the world's leading experts and companies in the field and learn from their experience and insights. This comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work culture. Key Responsibilities

Support Product Management with new product concept, matching product needs with technology capabilities. Provide feedback within the team to aid in directing internal development of PDK, technical notes, and business systems. Present credible representations of Pragmatic Semiconductors technology strengths and weaknesses internally and externally. Aid customers from the design phase of a project through to manufacture and delivery, providing feedback and inputs across the process. Qualifications and Training

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar. Highly advantageous would be ECAD training, e.g., Cadence, Altium. Skills and Experience

Previous experience in Electronics/Semiconductor Engineering roles. Demonstrable grasp of technical fundamentals in a wide range of electronics applications and industries.
