An opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Associate level Structural Engineer to join a multi-award winning engineering and environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation for technical excellence and exceptional client satisfaction.
You will be joining a design development team in Leicester, delivering a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national.
They are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStructE OR MICE) with significant experience working on both commercial and residential building structures, as these will be the projects on which you will take a leading role. In addition to producing some design calculations, you will also be required to mentor and develop more junior engineers to help them progress their abilities.
Working on challenging and multiple projects simultaneously, you will undertake preliminary and detailed designs and provide technical support activities. You will be required to work with limited support and supervision, taking responsibility for your own learning while supporting the development of junior team members.
