Preparing and/or checking/approving detailed technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications. Developing designs from concept stage through to detailed design. Implementing workflow, design processes and best practices. Supporting the technical and professional development of team members. Communicating directly with clients and other stakeholders. What you’ll bring Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, both internally and externally. Proven experience in engaging directly with clients and stakeholders through face-to-face interactions. Expertise in translating complex engineering concepts and solutions into clear, understandable information for non-technical audiences. Experience working on projects across National Highway, Network Rail, local highway authorities, and private developments. Proficiency in developing designs from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring a seamless transition across project stages. Skilled in preparing comprehensive technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications with attention to detail. Ability to implement efficient workflows, design processes, and best practices to enhance project outcomes. Strong background in quality management, ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and project briefs. Experience leading smaller projects and managing tasks or activities within larger projects. Competent in contributing to project scheduling and resource planning. Committed to supporting the technical and professional growth of team members through mentoring and guidance. Actively contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic goals.
