Negotiable depending on experience. What you'll be doing: Working with specialist Product Safety engineering teams, engaged in the design and manufacture of the Astute/Dreadnought and SSNA class of submarines to develop resource solutions, SQEP assessments and training and development intervention requirements. Regularly engaging with stakeholders within the Product Safety and other Engineering Domains. Providing regular updates on status of Product Safety capabilities across the Astute/Dreadnought and SSNA programmes. Gathering information from specialist engineering teams to identify areas of strategic and tactical risk. Production of Capability Management plans to ensure engineering capability is sustained, developed and managed in line with programme requirements. Developing own Capability Management and/or Product Safety skills/knowledge with individual training programmes. Your skills and experiences: Essential: STEM Degree or equivalent experience within (i.e. Safety or Environmental field / Capability Management). Chartered status or evidence of working towards Chartership. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience. Desirable: Experience working within a large engineering company.
