You will advise colleagues and applicants on S106 obligations and CIL, and provide infrastructure advice on planning applications/pre-application enquiries. You will be responsible for reviewing applications for S106 and CIL relief/exemptions, and reviewing and defending the Council's decisions for any relevant appeals. You will also lead the effective implementation, administration, and enforcement of the S106 and CIL processes, including the database of heads of terms, charges, allocations, and spend.
To carry out this role successfully, previous experience in a similar role is required alongside a relevant town planning related degree. You will have a proven track record of working independently on a full range of CIL/S106 Agreement duties including taking responsibility for high-profile planning applications and working to tight deadlines in a manner that is consistent with meeting corporate targets and objectives.
This role will be based in Central London and it will initially be offered as a 3-month contract, but it is expected to be a rolling contract. Our client is offering an hourly rate of £324/day (inside IR35).
Our client offers hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
