Our client is a leading engineering consultancy firm dedicated to delivering exceptional civil engineering solutions. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and Chartered Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join their team in Liverpool. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects, managing a team of engineers, and fostering strong client relationships. Your expertise in drainage, residential developments, and compliance with S278 and S104 agreements will be essential to projects' success. Proficiency in MicroDrainage and Civil 3D is required to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Utilize your extensive knowledge of drainage design and residential development to create innovative solutions. Prepare and oversee S278 and S104 agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Efficiently use MicroDrainage and Civil 3D software to design and analyze civil engineering projects. Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project goals are met within budget and on schedule. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve project outcomes. Qualifications:

Chartered Engineer status with a recognized engineering institution. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in drainage design, residential development, and S278/S104 agreements. Proficiency in MicroDrainage and Civil 3D software. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships. Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and regulations. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality in all projects.
