Principal Civil / Structural Engineer

Your duties will include, although not be limited to: Leading and managing a team of Engineers and Technicians, including mentoring, coaching and training Taking ownership of own projects across buildings schemes Carrying out inspections, site surveys and assessments of structures and preparing reports Overseeing the design of civil & structural schemes and checking designs prepared by others, including detailed calculations by hand and through computer models. Advising junior staff on solutions and supporting other team members on developing solutions Preparing and managing project programmes, workload and resources along with the directors Liaising with clients to verify project scope and ensure deliverables Preparation of tenders and fee proposals Developing new and existing client relationships Meeting with clients to promote the skills we provide Development of new work opportunities Development of the team, including interviewing and resourcing What will I receive in return? There is flexibility with start and finish times available however, the core working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm. What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?
