Do you want to join a design and engineering consultancy that handles large projects through consulting, construction, and compliance? Our client is seeking a Principal Civil/Highway Engineer to join their busy team in Newark. As a Principal Engineer, you will be working in a growing UK Highways Sector and you will have a strong track record on highway projects working with contractors and/or end clients on large highway schemes. You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams of Engineers, Technicians, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality output on projects, front clients, and liaise with project stakeholders as required. Minimum Requirements: Project experience in highway design Detailed highway alignment design AutoCAD skills are essential with Civil3D (or similar) and/or MX capability Highway Drainage network design Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) S38 and S278 Highways design, negotiation, and technical approval Cut/Fill assessments and earthworks volumes Utility coordination, networks, and strategies Good skills with MS packages including Excel and Word If you are an innovative thinker who can demonstrate experience in a client-facing role, with excellent written and verbal skills, we want to hear from you.
