This exciting opportunity would suit an experienced psychologist with relevant experience in older adult mental health who wishes to join a well-established and supportive team in a senior role. The post is in an older people's community mental health service that operates across a whole London Borough and interfaces with inpatient and other acute services. The post will function as part of a job-share arrangement. The post holder(s) will report to a newly appointed Consultant Clinical Psychologist and are expected to play a lead role in operational management as well as contributing to strategic development. There is a broad range of clinical work and opportunities for professional development. Main Duties of the Job

This is a varied role, which includes providing specialist individual, family and group interventions, neuropsychological assessment, as well as contributing to the therapeutic functions of the teams. You will support the teams with oversight and embedding of NHS transformation and exciting developments in more diverse and new psychological roles, and will contribute to service planning and development, including attendance at relevant management meetings. You will be professionally accountable to the Bromley OPMH Head of Psychological Therapies, and specialist clinical supervision will be provided within the OPMH service. You will also be supported by team managers. As well as service development and clinical governance roles, we welcome and encourage research and audit interests, including co-producing research with our service users through our programme of service user involvement. Supervision and CPD are prioritised in the Trust, with a range of training and specialist supervision opportunities available. The Trust Psychological Therapists boast a variety of therapeutic skills including group analysis, psychotherapy, MBT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, art and family therapy, and neuropsychology, with access to the appropriate specialist supervision. Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist. Post-doctoral training in relevant specialist areas of Clinical Psychology. Leadership or management training. Person Specification

Experience working with older people. Training and experience in clinical supervision. Experience of service development. Training and experience of an additional modality of therapy. Professional Registration

HCPCC/BABCP registration. Experience in Supervision

Has provided clinical supervision. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
