Principal Cloud Advisor

to join our team in the UK & Ireland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through their cloud transformation journeys, providing strategic advice, and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent client management skills, and the ability to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on cloud adoption and transformation. Develop and deliver comprehensive cloud strategies tailored to client needs. Lead cloud architecture design and implementation projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify and address client requirements. Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration plans. Provide thought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, and participation in industry events. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Mandatory Requirements: Experience in Cloud Delivery Models:

Proven track record in managing the implementation of large, complex cloud and hybrid enterprise solutions. Proficiency in FinOps:

Strong understanding and application of FinOps principles. Stakeholder Management:

Ability to manage technical and commercial Director/VP stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor. Technical Delivery:

Experience in applying MS Cloud Adoption Framework / AWS Well Architected Review best practices. Certifications:

Pro level CSP and Associate in another platform, FinOps Practitioner, Project or Product Management or Business Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, PrinceII). Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies. Strategic Thinking:

Ability to develop and articulate long-term cloud strategies that align with business objectives. Client Management:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership:

Proven leadership abilities, including project management, team coordination, and conflict resolution. Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges. Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Collaboration:

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Years of experience in cloud computing, IT consulting, or a related field. Proven track record of successful cloud transformation projects. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. Experience in the UK & Ireland market is a plus.
