Salary: £75,000 - £108,000

Role clearance type: Post-holder must hold and maintain UK Government clearances where required. Clearance not required to start.

About Your Opportunity:

As a Principal Cyber Engineer within our Active Cyber account, you will lead at the forefront of technical innovation and act as a role model for our junior engineers to aspire to.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership across the Cyber Engineering Workforce. Informing and influencing customer’s technical strategic decisions. Providing technical guidance to business development bids realizing our UK strategy. Internal assurance, ensuring commonality of technologies and validating our QA/QC processes. Successful hands-on delivery of high-assurance complex software and/or AWS cloud projects.

Your Experience: Proficiency across a variety of languages, with a focus on C++, C, and Python. In-depth experience of leading agile software development teams, embracing DevSecOps. Eagerness to tackle complex integration issues with legacy or black box systems. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. Demonstrable agility, keen to continue developing in areas outside of your comfort zone.

Desirable: Knowledge of modern desktop or mobile operating system internals. Experience in embedded systems and RF communications. AWS cloud certifications. Previous experience working with the UK Government and/or MOD.
