Principal Data Analyst (SAS Programming - Pro/COA's)

Remote Based - Multiple Locations Globally The Role: A highly technical, senior position within a reputable scientific consulting group, managing and prioritising tasks related to data programming to meet project needs. Responsible for the overall quality of programming and results tables to be delivered to the statistician sponsor. Integral to the success of the organisation, working closely with a variety of stakeholders; technical and research, to drive delivery and quality. Supports a regulatory environment; knowledge of good clinical practices for data management is required. Prepare, manage, and analyse research data using standard statistical packages (e.g., SAS, S-Plus). Review project-related documentation such as CRFs, SAPs, and proposals, providing feedback to the project team. Assist in the development of final study reports and presentation of study findings, including graphical output creation from study data. Validate and peer review other programs. Act as a technical consultant to other staff and assist in mentoring and developing. Provide SAS user group training sessions at least once a year, presenting to programmers and senior outcomes research staff. Desired Profile: 5+ years of SAS programming experience and willingness to remain ‘hands-on’. Work experience with healthcare or clinical trial data is essential. Experience analysing STDM and ADAM datasets. Excellent understanding of, and generous experience with SAS/Base, SAS ODS outputs, SAS STAT, and any additional SAS modules as required by the specific job position.
