We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Design Engineer to lead and oversee the design of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of design principles, bring innovative solutions to complex challenges, and have a track record of successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage design teams in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for major projects. Develop and review detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers. Ensure all designs meet safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Oversee the integration of design changes, addressing any technical challenges that arise during project development. Participate in client meetings and support business development through technical input. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent. Extensive experience in civil engineering design, including managing complex infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership skills and experience in managing design teams.
