A renowned independent construction consultancy, known for delivering high-quality services across various sectors, is seeking an experienced CDM Principal Designer to join their Birmingham team.

Very flexible remote working, joining the team to focus on a huge new client of theirs with a range of new and exciting projects.

Responsibilities of the CDM Principal Designer:

* Lead the implementation and compliance of CDM regulations across multiple projects. * Provide expert advice on safety regulations and design risk management. * Oversee the development of pre-construction information and construction phase plans. * Conduct health and safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. * Facilitate design review meetings and workshops to ensure risk management is prioritised. * Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure effective communication of health and safety requirements.

Requirements for the CDM Principal Designer:

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate. * In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and design risk management. * Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or equivalent. * Extensive experience in a senior or leadership role within a consultancy environment. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with diverse teams.
