40 hours per week As a Principal Designer (CDM), you will be responsible for undertaking the duties on a variety of projects from tender stage through to client handover. You will support the design and project delivery teams in delivering high-quality work, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards safely and to budget. Responsibilities: Undertaking site visits to develop an understanding of the construction site and site constraints. Meeting with clients and designers to communicate the requirements of the CDM Regulations. Understanding of the design process of multi-disciplinary design teams and have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team. Arranging and attending design team meetings. Reviewing Designer Risk Assessments. Producing the Pre-Construction Information Document. Recording design change and monitoring residual risk registers. Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure coordinated designs. Maintaining high standards of professionalism and quality in all work. Requirements and Qualifications:

A good understanding of the CDM Regulations. Relevant Degree within the field or experience equivalence. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a construction environment. Experience in a Principal Design CDM role would be advantageous but not essential.
