A leading construction consultancy based in the North East is seeking a skilled

Principal Designer

to join their thriving team in Newcastle. This consultancy provides high-quality services across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and public projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations under CDM 2015. The Principal Designer Role

As the successful Principal Designer, you will play a critical role in managing design risks throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that all design and construction activities comply with the latest CDM regulations. This role will involve preparing pre-construction information (PCI), conducting design risk assessments, and reviewing construction phase plans (CPP). The Principal Designer will lead projects from concept to completion, working on a variety of exciting schemes across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. You will be a key figure in promoting safety and regulatory compliance while developing your career within a supportive and dynamic consultancy. The Principal Designer

Proven experience in a Principal Designer role Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations A background in construction, design, or architecture NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential) Membership with APS or IOSH is desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and lead project teams In Return?
