Advise architectural teams to ensure compliance with Building Regulations
Develop the company's compliance and safety services
Manage and develop Principal Designer duties under the Building Safety Act
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and deliver client-focused services
Collaborate with teams to execute strategic initiatives and meet key performance indicators
Prepare reports and provide insights to senior leadership
Monitor design phases for compliance and assist in assessing Duty Holders' competence
Provide creative solutions to design challenges and promote sustainability practices
Maintain strong client relationships and support them with Duty Holder responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring professional communication
Liaise with external teams, attend project meetings and keep project managers informed
Coordinate training on building regulations and mentor staff
Lead by example, managing time effectively and ensuring work meets required standards
Support financial management, project organisation, and health and safety documentation.
Required Skills & Experience Previous experience in the construction industry, ideally in a compliance or health and safety role
Excellent knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022
In-depth understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster strong relationships with design directors, senior leadership, and architectural teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field
Membership in RICS, CABE, RIBA, CIAT, BSCF, or CIOB.
