As a Principal Ecologist, you will bring: A degree in ecology or a related discipline. Proven experience managing complex projects and leading teams. In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policies, and ecological impact assessments (EcIA, EIA, HRA). Expertise in UKHab, BNG strategies, and National Vegetation Classification (NVC). Experience holding or working under protected species licences. Excellent client liaison skills and a track record of developing business opportunities. A valid driving licence. Desirable skills include proficiency in GIS software, bat call analysis, and public inquiry participation.
