About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Electrical Test Engineer to join the Requirements and Validation department in a rapidly growing and innovative organisation. This position plays a crucial role in driving the development of cutting-edge zero-emission power systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Test Team supports testing and integration for all electrical projects, ensuring high performance and quality. As the Principal Engineer, you will:

Manage and develop the Electrical Test Team, including enhancing processes, tools, and resources. Collaborate with electrical and project teams to define and meet test and integration requirements. Oversee DV & PV hardware testing at component and system levels, including electrical performance and EMC. Support on-vehicle tests and integration efforts. Lead the development of test equipment, vehicle wiring, instrumentation, and data acquisition. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams. About You

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual with a passion for sustainable engineering and innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in vehicle, hardware, and software testing. Demonstrated success in team and people management. Expertise in all stages of an engineering development program. A strong understanding of design and development processes. Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage workloads effectively. Proficiency in standard PC software, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
