Microchip is currently seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer who specializes in Active Directory to join our global Active Directory team. This individual can design, develop, configure, and implement solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues related to information security, group policy management, identity management, user access authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and role-based access control. The perfect candidate has experience in complex multi-forest multi-domain environments and is comfortable working in PowerShell. Serve as an SME for Active Directory Domain Services, Kerberos, OU management, PowerShell, etc. Participate in information services, infrastructure, and security projects. Provide solutions to resolve issues related to information security, group policy management, identity management, user access authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and role-based access control. Maintain multi-forest, multi-domain environment with an eye towards security and reducing complexity. Work alongside other team members, teams, vendors, and customers to provide timely resolutions to AD related issues. Work some nights and weekends as required for critical events affecting production environments. Position may require very occasional travel to other Microchip locations. Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience enough to successfully perform the essential duties. 10+ years technical project experience designing, developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues. 10+ years' experience in Active Directory Domain Services management, design and architecture, including testing and troubleshooting of AD environment, health & replication. Coding experience and proficiency in PowerShell. Administration of Windows Servers (2003 and newer). Must be able to perform duties with little to no direct supervision. This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
